Year 11
WELCOME TO YEAR 11
It is an absolute pleasure to be continuing the journey with you as
your Achievement Team Leader. It is my priority to guide you
through your final year. Year 11 is such a significant and exciting
stage in our students’ educational journey.
Year 11 is a year of challenge, opportunity and achievement as
students prepare for their GCSE examinations and begin to make
important decisions about their future pathways. Our aim is to
ensure that every student feels supported, motivated and confident
in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally.
I would encourage all students to approach this year with
determination, resilience and a positive attitude. Success is built
through consistent effort, excellent attendance, effective
organisation and a willingness to seek help when needed. Our
dedicated staff at Tabor Academy are committed to providing
guidance, encouragement and support every step of the way.
Alongside academic achievement, we continue to promote the
values of respect, responsibility and kindness, helping students to
develop the skills and character needed for life beyond school. We
work closely with parents and carers and greatly value the
partnership between home and school in supporting our young
people.
I am so proud of the work and commitment shown by our students
and unbelievably happy to be completing their journey with them
alongside Mrs Burns from the Year Care Team. I'm looking forward to
celebrating their successes throughout the year. Together, we will
make this a positive, productive and rewarding final year.
Year 11 – You’ve got this! A little progress each day adds up to big
results.
