Tara plays in the World Cup for England!

The England Women’s squad made history this week, reaching England’s first ever Women’s Under 17 UEFA European final. Tara in Y11 was not only successful in making the squad for this year’s tournament but a fundamental part of the starting 11 throughout the competition. The teams victory in the semi-final against Poland, secured them a place at the 2024 FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in Dominican Republic. Saturday’s final ended England 0 v Spain 4. Despite England finishing as runners up to Spain, it was a day to remember for everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of Tara and her achievements with England, as a school would like to congratulate her and the rest of the team for what has been achieved in Sweden.
