Hot Weather Arrangements – Next Week

With the forecast predicting very warm temperatures next week, students are invited to wear their school PE kit instead of full school uniform to help keep them comfortable during the school day.

Please note that this must be the official school PE kit. Items such as Nike Pro shorts and other non-school sportswear are not permitted. 

Students who do not arrive in suitable school PE kit will be expected to wear their full school uniform.

We want to ensure that students are as comfortable as possible while still maintaining our usual high standards and expectations. 

Students can still wear their usual school uniform if they prefer. 

This measure will be in place whilst the Met Office weather alert for our area continues. Current forecasting is predicting high temperatures for all of next week. 

In addition to the temporary uniform adjustments, our students should:

• Bring a refillable water bottle to school each day. This is essential. 
• Make use of shaded areas during break and lunchtime.
• Follow staff guidance regarding staying safe in the heat.
• Ensure your child has sun cream on (nut free) and a hat for extra protection.
