Dear Parents/Carers,

As a result of the red weather warning from the Met and to ensure the safety of all students and staff, the school will close early Thursday 25th June 2026 and Friday 26^th June 2026.

Tabor Academy will close at 1. 30pm on both days, giving students the opportunity to purchase a cold school meal before they leave if they choose to do so. Students in receipt of free school meals will be able to collect their lunch allocation as normal. We have informed transport for students who are collected by taxis. 

Our Year 6 transitions days will finish at 1pm on Thursday 25^thJune 2026 and Friday 26^th June 2026.

We will have a limited provision for our most vulnerable children available up until the normal end of the school day. If you require your child to access this provision, please contact the school. 

We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will communicate any further adjustments should they become necessary. Please can all parents check the website for updates over the weekend and students Google classroom pages.
